- Lived in Spain and Brazil
- Traveled extensively in Latin America
- Teaching experience including Spanish immersion (St. Paul) and
bilingual education (Austin, TX) - Tutoring experience in United States, Spain, and Brazil
- Familiar with regionalisms of Spanish-speaking countries (for
example, the word "bus" is "autobús" in Spain, "camión" in
Mexico, "guagua" in Puerto Rico, and "colectivo" in Argentina!).
